DCI
has a wide variety of test facilities and analysis equipment, ranging from
pumps and test stands to spectrum analyzers and digital oscilloscopes to
computers with an array of analysis software.
The
DCI pump room houses a pair of 120 gpm/5000 psi pumps in
addition to several smaller pumps (30 gpm/4000 psi, four 2 gpm/10000 psi).
DCI also has two hydraulic test benches with built in pumps and flow
meters.
DCI's
staff of engineers are well versed in the art of designing and
implementing control systems.
DCI
has a pair of spectrum analyzers and several digital oscilloscopes and
recorders for collecting and processing test data.
DCI
has two GPATR's (General Purpose Actuation Test Rig - large test frames)
for mounting and measuring electrohydraulic experiments (primarily
involving hydraulic actuators). Each GPATR is fitted with a
high-response loading system (200 gpm servo valve driving a load actuator)
and two inch hydraulic lines. A laser measurement system is
available to measure test specimen position accurately and quickly.
